Amanda Stone, Therapist in New York
As a Licensed Master of Social Work, I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples navigate life’s challenges, build stronger relationships, and find meaningful paths towards personal growth. I use Emotionally Focused Therapy, Gottman and Imago Therapy to help clients work through what is holding them back and to better communicate their needs.
With a compassionate, client centered approach, I create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts, emotions and behaviors. Whether you are seeking support during a difficult time or looking to deepen your connection with your partner, my goal is to help you gain insight, develop effective coping strategies, learn how to communicate effectively and create lasting and positive change.
I graduated from The University of Michigan where I graduated with Honors with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. I continued my education and my passion for helping others at New York University Shirley M Ehrenkranz school of Social Work where I received my Social Work degree.
