The goal of our Anger Management Support Group is to help you express anger in a healthier way. We approach the group from a psychodynamic and cognitive perspective. First, we identify feelings that trigger anger and delve deeper into understanding the feelings underneath the anger. The more familiar you become with your triggers, reactions and the true source of your anger, the more in control you will be of this emotion. Second, we focus on learning major cognitive techniques and strategies on how to manage your anger.
Bonus: You will receive an audio recording and powerpoint. When you feel stuck in an anger episode, you can listen to the audio as many times necessary to help control and manage your anger.

Grieving the loss of a relationship
Getting divorced is a hard process even if you are the one who initiates it. If you are the one who wants the divorce, you may be experiencing feelings of guilt, shame or regret. If your partner wants to end the marriage, you may feel angry, abandoned or betrayed. It’s not uncommon for you to feel lonely, lost or scared. Our Divorce Recovery Group helps you process the range of emotions that are common after the ending and loss of the relationship/marriage.
Grief is a natural reaction to loss, and people who experience a divorce go through a grieving process. Allowing yourself to feel the pain of multiple losses as a result of a divorce can be intense and overwhelming. Grieving is essential to the healing process.
Divorce can be difficult depending on the length of time and emotional investment into the relationship. Our six-week Divorce Recovery Group helps clients going through the divorce process work through the mourning and healing process and get to a place of acceptance.
